Negative Space

As a junior I always questioned myself "why the hell am I in this class" in the beginning of the semester? But after become friends w/ my profs she promised I could do more complicated things.... so!

For those who don't know in negative space u only draw the outer layer of the object then u color either the object or background(normally background) to do a negative space. Most students just shade it black and get it over w/ but I decided to do something different. I used charcoal for the object's background shadow and made the wall yellow. I am color blind (lol an artist who color blind) and asked the prof if I could use my color blind perspective. Later I found out the wall was actually bej/cream like color... lol
